Sealcoat
Protective coal-tar or asphalt-emulsion film applied over cured asphalt to block UV oxidation and water. Applied every 2–3 years at roughly 80 sq ft per gallon per coat; governed by ASTM D490 and D5707 material specs. Maintenance, not structural repair.
