Formula & constants
Millings weigh about 140 lb/ft³ loose. Area × (depth ÷ 12) × 140 ÷ 2,000 = tons of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). A 2 in mill on 10,000 sq ft yields roughly 117 tons — six tandem loads out. Every default in the fields above is editable — when your supplier’s spec sheet lists a different density, coverage rate or price, enter that number instead.
