Formula & constants
Crushed stone compacts to about 120 lb/ft³. Area × (depth ÷ 12) × 120 ÷ 2,000 tons, +5% waste. A 6 in base under pavement is the standard residential spec. Every default in the fields above is editable — when your supplier’s spec sheet lists a different density, coverage rate or price, enter that number instead.
