Tack coat bonds asphalt lifts. Typical residual application is 0.04–0.07 gal/sy: area in square yards × rate = gallons of diluted SS-1h or CSS-1h emulsion. Every default in the fields above is editable — when your supplier’s spec sheet lists a different density, coverage rate or price, enter that number instead.
