Mulch volume = area × (depth ÷ 12) ÷ 27 cu yd. One yard covers 108 sq ft at 3 in. A 2 cu ft bag covers 8 sq ft at 3 in — 13.5 bags equal one bulk yard. Every default in the fields above is editable — when your supplier’s spec sheet lists a different density, coverage rate or price, enter that number instead.
