Formula & constants
Coal-tar and asphalt-emulsion sealers cover about 80 sq ft per gallon per coat on aged pavement. Two coats are standard: area ÷ 80 × 2 = gallons; divide by 5 for pails. Every default in the fields above is editable — when your supplier’s spec sheet lists a different density, coverage rate or price, enter that number instead.
